Overview
KINTEX (Korea International Exhibition Center) is Korea’s most well-known exhibition and convention center. With a total conference and exhibition area of over 100,000 square meters, it is not only the largest of its kind in Korea but the fourth largest exhibition facility in Asia.
Opened in 2005 as part of the effort to internationalize Korea’s exhibition and convention industry, KINTEX hosts a variety of large-scale events throughout the year, including the Seoul Motor Show, Seoul Food Show, and Korea Industry Fair. Having successfully hosted several international mega-events, such as Gastech 2014 (one of the world’s top three international oil and gas exhibitions and conventions) and the Asia Nonwovens Exhibition and Conference. KINTEX is now competing with not only domestic facilities but top exhibition facilities throughout the world. Attracting an average of approximately five million visitors annually, KINTEX has become a synonym for success, ensuring a great turnout for any exhibition or convention held at its facilities.
As such, KINTEX has been increasingly gaining attention as a world-class MICE facility.
