Conducting "2023 Goyang City Professional Support Project" till the end of this year
Did you know that you can receive help from a MICE professional if you conduct MICE events at Goyang? We have about 100 MICE professionals who can be placed in any type of MICE event. These professionals are youth and middle-aged people who have taken a MICE professional education program that has been provided by the bureau and are authorized professionals who are living in, or near Goyang. Up to 10 people will be receiving 50% support on their labor costs.

Goyang Convention Visitors Bureau has been implementing the "2023 Goyang City MICE Professional Support Project" from last March till this December. We will now share the eligibility for applying and the contents, so please take a close look at it and apply for it anytime!
First, the MICE professional in the bureau is divided into △middle-aged (40s-60s) and △ youth. In the case of middle-aged professionals, you can receive about 50% of labor costs (up to 10 people per event), so please keep that in your mind. However, both middle-aged professionals and youth professionals have taken and completed the MICE educational program provided by the bureau and are foreign language speakers. However, middle-aged professionals have related work experiences, and youth professionals have experience as MICE operators. Please keep this in your mind when deciding what professional would be a better fit for your event so that the operation of the event will flow more smoothly.
Next is the eligibility in applying. Don't miss this part. The support is limited to associations, societies, organizations, institutions, and corporations that are hosting events such as international conferences, domestic conferences, international events, and exhibitions that have been organized by the Goyang Special City. The application period is also very important as well. You would need to apply "at least 3 weeks" before the event is held. This is because you would need sufficient time to communicate about the professionals that will be dispatched with the bureau via phone or face-to-face before the event is held. We are unable to help you if you urgently ask us to send you professionals to the event that will be held next week!
The application process is simple. You will be able to get detailed information once you access Goyang MICE Application System (support.goyangcvb.com) and click on "Apply for MICE professional". You would need to join the system first, then you can insert the event synopsis, post job opening for the professional, and working conditions. Once the application has been approved by the bureau, the job posting will be promoted to the talent pool, then the host or the supervisor of the organization (applicant) can review the applications of the professional and select them through an interview process. Please make sure you make your final selection "at least one week before the event is hosted".

Finally, I'll let you know about a few things that you need to be aware of. The number of professionals desired by the organizer and the actual number of professionals being recruited
may differ, and the budget and the schedule of the event can change the number of days that the professional is placed in the event and the daily wage of the professional as well. Please be aware that if you already have received Goyang MICE event funds, "duplicated application is not allowed".
Once you receive help from the professional, you need to provide us with the "result report" within two weeks after the event has been hosted. This can be done online through Application System. The labor cost of middle-aged professionals will be paid in advance by the organization or the host and will be settled once the event is over.
