This autumn, Goyang City will host world-class MICE events centered around KINTEX, Korea’s largest exhibition and convention center, drawing global attention. With numerous domestic and international visitors expected, a special service has been prepared to make participants’ journeys more convenient and enjoyable: a free shuttle bus connecting major facilities within the Goyang International Conference Complex (GCC Goyang).
The main feature of this announcement is the “GCC Goyang Shuttle Bus.” It is designed not only for those attending exhibitions and conferences but also for participants who wish to enrich their stay in Goyang—whether by enjoying meals near the venue, shopping, or even sightseeing in between event schedules.
As its name suggests, the GCC Goyang Shuttle Bus provides access to all major destinations within the Goyang International Conference Complex, with KINTEX as the central hub. Beginning at KINTEX Exhibition Hall 2, the route connects five stops in total:
-KINTEX Exhibition Hall 2
-GTX-A KINTEX Station (Exit 5)
-Sono Calm Goyang Hotel (East Tower)
-One Mount (bus stop)
-Hyundai Department Store KINTEX Branch (bus stop)
This optimized route allows participants to travel seamlessly between the exhibition hall, shopping, dining, and sightseeing locations. In particular, its connection to GTX-A KINTEX Station provides enhanced convenience for those using public transportation.
The shuttle bus will operate from October 21 to November 30, 2025. All MICE participants in Goyang can use the service free of charge by presenting their event ticket, invitation, or name badge to the bus staff. Without concerns about fares or transfers, participants can enjoy a smooth and stress-free MICE journey.
The service is divided into morning and lunchtime operations:
-Morning Operation (Tue–Fri): A direct route between Sono Calm Goyang Hotel and KINTEX Exhibition Hall 2, from 8:30 AM to 10:20 AM.
-Lunchtime Operation (Tue–Sun): A circular route connecting all five stops, from 11:00 AM to 2:15 PM.
-Frequency: every 15 minutes
-Full loop duration: approx. 30 minutes
Participants need not worry about finding the stops. Each stop will have a clear X-banner (bottle-shaped) or steel banner displaying bus locations, operation times, and boarding instructions. Shuttle bus QR codes will also be available at KINTEX exhibition hall entrances and the MICE Information Center.
This shuttle bus initiative goes beyond providing transportation. It also strengthens the brand identity of GCC Goyang, fosters organic connections among facilities within the International Conference Complex, and contributes positively to the local economy.
