A Major Highlight: GEVME AI – First-Ever Introduction in a Korean MICE Event
One feature to especially watch at GDW2025 is the first-ever introduction of the AI-based MICE platform “GEVME AI” in a Korean MICE event.
GEVME AI is an AI system that:
· Converts spoken content from sessions into text
· Analyzes frequently mentioned keywords
· Provides summarized versions of presentations
It also includes multilingual translation functions, making sessions accessible regardless of nationality. Participants can easily access the main content of each session by simply scanning a QR code.
Lee Sang-yeol, Secretary General of the Goyang Convention Bureau, who led the adoption of GEVME AI, explained:
“Currently, AI technology in MICE events is mostly limited to simultaneous interpretation. But we aim to show that the scope of AI-based MICE services can be much broader. With AI, we can offer personalized MICE services and enhance the overall efficiency of the industry.”
What’s more, content missed due to concurrent sessions can be revisited. Summarized insights categorized by keyword make the information easy to review and repurpose into event reports, research materials, and more.
