Introduction of new member companies in 2023 (Green PR)

The Goyang MICE Alliance also has members who joined this new trend. Green PR (CEO Ha Yongman), which specializes in producing eco-friendly promotional materials. What kind of business are they focused on, and why did this company knock on the door of the Goyang MICE Alliance?

“From banners to name tags… Now use ‘eco-friendly materials’”

-What does green PR do?

“In a nutshell, we are a company specializing in producing eco-friendly promotional materials. We reduce the use of carbon-intensive materials such as plastics when producing promotional materials and instead make materials easy to recycle or close to net zero. We are the first eco-friendly PR company in Korea, and we are starting with activities to reduce environmentally harmful materials.”

-Which project are you focusing on this year?

“green PR makes banners, POPs, sculptures, back walls, name tags, and others with papers, biodegradable fabrics, and recycled PET materials. In the first half of this year, we plan to launch our flagship products to help popularize eco-friendly promotional materials. Following that, in the second half of the year, we will conduct a campaign to further promote the value of eco-friendly practices.”

-How did you join the Goyang MICE Alliance?

“green PR supplied eco-friendly trophies for the Goyang MICE Alliance’s year-end party last year. They were made of solid wood and paper. We also participated in the event and were impressed by the bonding among the members. Seeing the professionalism and enthusiasm of the members made us want to join the Alliance this year.”

-What kind of activities do you plan to carry out in the Goyang MICE Alliance? What are some of the things you expect from other members and the Bureau?

“As the MICE industry uses a lot of promotional materials, eco-friendly promotional materials are essential for the future. As a company based in Goyang, we hope to become a company that supports the realization of carbon neutrality in the MICE industry in Goyang. In the future, we would like to create opportunities for communication and empathy between the member companies and advance together.”
